Preliminary Design Phase
Design That Hits the Jackpot
Mendez Engineering is leading the design efforts for a 3-mile stretch of roadway leading up to the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass, TX. Improvements will include full-depth pavement rehabilitation with widening from two lanes to four lanes, and upsizing seven cross culvert structures to prevent flooding. Next stop, a better corridor!
Engineered for a sure-flow win
Tierra Soberana is getting a road upgrade! Right now, it has one lane in each direction with a natural median in the middle. Mendez Engineering will widening the road to have two lanes in each direction with a divided median, will also improve drainage to help prevent flooding in the future, and new lighting will be added along the center.
In addition, water and sewer lines will be extended along Tierra Soberana to connect to FM 1102 / El Indio Highway. These upgrades are meant to support future development and growth in the area.
